    GETTING STARTED
This user's guide gives you a quick explanation of how to use the Bill Pay service.

    INTERNET SIGN ON SCREEN
Once you have accessed on line banking, Bill Pay is a click away. To begin the Bill Pay session, from any on line banking page, click on Pay Bills on the pull down menu option or on Bill Payment from the menu bar on the lower portion of the page.

For additional security purposes, you are required to sign on to a Bill Pay session using your ID number and password.

To begin using Bill Payment Services, you will need to accept our terms and agreements by choosing Set Up As Bill Payment Account from the Account Drop Down menu. Next, you will be prompted to choose the left most digit for Bill Pay “Check” numbers. You will want to choose a different digit from your paper checks, as you will then have the ability to quickly identify electronic payments from those you have written. Lastly, you must click Accept at the bottom of the page. You are now ready to begin setting up new payee information.

    NAVIGATING THROUGH BILL PAY

    Setting Up a Payee
You should search for the payee before entering it. Follow the instructions listed below.

Select Add Payee from the drop down menu and click the GO button.

Then, search for an electronic payee alphabetically or enter the specific payee name or even just click on the first letter of the payee you are searching for. If your payee can be found in the list, your bill can be paid electronically. Otherwise you must enter the name, address, account, etc. to ensure the check will be sent to the proper vender.

After obtaining the new payee screen, complete the requested information. To complete the set-up of your Payee, click the Save New Payee button. Be sure to use the mailing address provided to you by the vendor, usually on a return coupon or envelope.
